A passion for fashion. And travel. That’s what my mom and I share. And we love doing both together. Some of our fondest memories are of rummaging through piles of colorful belts at an open-air market in Italy in search of the “one” or wandering the streets of Buenos Aires in absolute awe of the number of tiny boutiques with unbelievably beautiful designs. We are both positively giddy to return home to New York with a few new purchases knowing that we are probably the only ones in this crazy wonderful city to have them.

Even here in New York City, a place where it is so easy to go unnoticed, we are often stopped and asked where we bought a pleated purple scarf or a burgundy velvet jacket. We are usually met with a disappointed look when the answer is a shop not across town, but rather a shop across an ocean. And so we got to thinking, “wouldn’t it be fun if we could share some of our fashion travel finds”? Maybe there was a way to put our love for colorful, quirky, unique designs all in one place, all just a click away.

And so was born the idea for this site. My mom brings along experience as a published interior designer, as well as 15 years running an eyewear boutique. She has been credited in InStyle and Allure magazines, was recently interviewed by fashionista and author of “Chic in Paris” Susan Tabak and is often called upon to assist celebrities in choosing the right frames for their movie roles. And me, well, I like to think I had the best teacher. My mom has passed along her love of good style. From the time I was little, I remember going “shopping” in my mom’s closet, searching for the perfect scarf to accessorize my outfit. And if there was ever a doubt in my mind about which one to choose, I knew I had the right person to call on. And my experience in e-retailing has taught me that though the world wide web can be a very large and impersonal place, delivering outstanding, personal service is our top priority.

Each piece on our site is designed with great care and hand-selected by us. If we only like one piece from a collection, that is all you will find. We are committed to finding undiscovered talent from all over the globe and curating a collection of fun fashions from faraway places that can be accessed right from your own home. And just as Felice makes sure that no client leaves her shop looking anything less than fabulous, we hope that we can do the same by offering tips and ideas for putting together great looks for you.
