Wearable art. How very lucky we are to see it come to life!

His collection was the whole package – unique, interesting, wearable and something we wanted to have hanging in our closets. 

Lost as usual on the winding streets, I found myself peering into the window of a shop filled with the most amazing clear lucite jewelry.

 His use of strong colors and textures is reminiscent of the larger-than-life paintings lining the walls of the Prado.

On a recent trip to Paris to ferret out pretty, Parisian and très particulier wares, I found myself in one of those magical, hidden ateliers, behind those fabulous double doors.

Many other celebrities during the second half of the last century loved OG, too! Stars like Grace Kelly, Michael Caine and John Lennon all sported Oliver Goldsmith specs. 

Derome Brenner continues the tradition of artisanship of a bygone era, while combining it with an eye for design that is both modern and timeless.

The design trio was inspired to bring to life a collection that evoked its love of 1930s and 40s design and its appreciation for authentic craftsmanship.

There in the window glistened bracelets and earrings (oh my!) in every shade of Lucite imaginable.

Each piece was poured and assembled completely by hand, they explained, between giggles and apologies for their slightly broken English.
